Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York New York U.S.A. was an American actress who is known for her portrayal of tough, yet vulnerable character. Linney came from an aristocratic family that loved theatre. Her father named Romulus Linney was a writer. In 1986, she received her degree in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then studied Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before graduating from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. in New York City in 1990. She was in New York City when she began the beginning of her Broadway career. She was praised for her performances in both Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
